OUR STORY
My name is Angela Blochowicz, and I'm the owner of The Morningside Project, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, lifelong Southside Fort Worth resident, and passionate community builder dedicated to investing in the neighborhood I've always called home.

As President of the Jennings-May-St. Louis Neighborhood Association and a leader in numerous community initiatives, I've spent many years bringing people together, connecting neighbors with resources, supporting local entrepreneurs, and advocating for meaningful investment along the Hemphill corridor. I've always believed that the strongest communities are built by the people who live there.

I believe that success isn't measured by buildings or businesses alone, it's measured by the relationships formed, the opportunities created, and the pride people feel in the place they call home. Every neighborhood deserves exceptional places to gather, every entrepreneur deserves the opportunity to thrive, and lasting change happens when communities build it together.
The Morningside Project was born from one simple belief: great communities are built by the people who call them home.

Inspired by conversations with neighbors, local leaders, entrepreneurs, and the vibrant voices along Hemphill Street, we set out to create more than just a place... we're building a community where ideas take root, relationships grow, and opportunities are created. Through entrepreneurship, thoughtful placemaking, and collaboration, we're aiming to transform an underutilized space into a welcoming destination that reflects the unique character of the neighborhoods they serve.
Our flagship initiative, The Fork Yard, is one expression of that vision. More than a food truck park or event venue, it's a gathering place where families share meals, local businesses find new customers, entrepreneurs launch new ideas, artists showcase their talents, and neighbors build lasting connections.
